In September 2017 I began learning how to code, in
Progmeistars. I was 13 at the time.
After developing skills in WEB development for 2 years, I have begun with my first programming language - Golang.
At the same time, I was attending classes where
Melnik Sergey Ilyich,
a distinguished mathematician and head teacher in the school, gave classes on mathematical structures and dynamic programming.
2023 is the year when I graduated high school. I have accidentally concluded that in Latvia there are little opportunities.
I have decided to move to the Netherlands.
I have started at HAN University of Applied Sciences - Embedded Systems Engineering, a study in English.
To support myself, I began immediately working at a DHL warehouse here in Arnhem.
I have concluded that I no longer want to work in the warehouse. I have started exploring options within industry where I could begin working.
At the same time, I am planning to transfer to part-time study, which is taught in Dutch only. I need to learn Dutch, on B2 level.
I have signed an internship agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific, which begins February 2025. November also marked the date when I have fully begun studying Dutch.
Internship has finished, and now, after about half a year worth of efforts, I take my government B2 Dutch language exam.
I have started working as a full-time embedded systems engineer at Insyte Technology. As for the univrersity - I have barely not passed my speaking exam, and so I need to retake it.
Having successfully retaken my Dutch speaking exam, I continue my studies.
